Father McGivney Leads Boys East Alton-Wood River Quad Meet

WOOD RIVER - Father McGivney dominated the boys' part of the East Alton-Wood River Quad Meet on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at EA-WR Track, winning the meet with 73.5 points. Trenton-Wesclin followed with 62.5 points, Roxana posted 47.5 points, and the host Oilers recorded 36.5 points.

The results of the EA-WR Quad Meet for boys are as follows:

100 Meters - 1. Mekhi Shorter of Roxana, 11.2; Cael Madden of Trenton-Wesclin, 11.5 and Eddie Foppe, of Father McGivney, 12.0.

200 Meters - 1. Mekhi Buchanan, Trenton, 24.4; John Pierre, McGivney, 24.8; Will Waggoner, Trenton, 25.1.

400 Meters - 1. Carson LeMond, EAWR, 56.4; Cohen Dugan, Roxana, 1:00.6 and Skylar Gabel, Trenton, 1:05.2.
