EHS Tiger Talk Podcast Network Visits Shock City Studios

EDWARDSVILLE - The Edwardsville High School Tiger Talk Podcast Network recently visited Shock City Studios in St. Louis for a personal tour of their professional recording studio, along with an informational session led by Studio Manager Jonathan Shaver. For students who spend hours behind the microphone, this was a chance to see what storytelling looks like at the highest level.

Artists like SZA, Future, Yung Gravy, and bbno$ have all recorded at Shock City Studios, a highly reputable St. Louis studio specializing in music recording, podcasts, audiobooks, and post-production services. During their visit, EHS podcasters stepped inside the same space and learned about the technical elements of sound engineering.

The Edwardsville High School Tiger Talk Podcast Network is sponsored by Mr. Dave Lipe and Mrs. Nicole Pontious and features two podcasts: The Jungle – The Official EHS Sports Podcast - and Tiger Spotlight – A Podcast Highlighting Our Tiger Community. To date, the students have produced a total of 250 episodes with approximately 9,000 streams to date.
