This is the hottest part of the day, and it comes with an Extreme Heat Warning through 9 p.m.

Monday evening stays very warm and sticky after sunset, with the heat easing only slowly. Skies trend mainly clear, and conditions stay quiet with no widespread rain expected.
Overnight, the low settles near 76 under a mostly clear to partly cloudy sky. It will still feel muggy late into the night, with a light west-northwest breeze near 7 mph and just a small 12% chance of a passing shower.
The allergy index is low today. Grass, mold, ragweed and tree pollen are all in the low range.
Tuesday looks better, with a high near 87 and a low around 66. It will still be humid, but not as hot, with a mix of sun and clouds and only a small chance of rain.
