Worden Man Sentenced To 14 Years After Pleading Guilty To Child Porn
Guilty plea entered in Madison County child pornography case, bringing 14-year prison sentence and lifetime sex offender registration for Worden resident.
WORDEN – A local man charged with child pornography in 2024 was recently sentenced to 14 years in prison.
22-year-old Jared Henke, of the 200 block of W. Ahrens Street in Worden, pleaded guilty to a Class X felony count of child pornography in Madison County court.

The charge against Henke was originally filed on Dec. 5, 2024. His guilty plea was entered on the morning of Aug. 31, 2026 before Judge Emily Nielsen.
Henke has been sentenced to serve 14 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections. He is also subject to lifetime registration as a sex offender.
The Madison County Sheriff’s Office launched an investigation into Henke after receiving seven cybertips from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children on Oct. 25, 2024, court documents state. Each of the cybertips were related to the same individual having sexually explicit images of children in their Kik, X, Snapchat, Instagram and DropBox accounts.
Authorities executed a search warrant on Henke’s home on Dec. 3, 2024 and seized multiple electronic devices. Analyses of these devices showed conversations between Henke and individuals believed to be children in which he was “sending them videos that contain child pornography and requesting that they send him videos depicting the same acts as shown in the videos he sent them.”
