PIASA - Roxana swept Southwestern 25-17, 25-13 in girls volleyball, with Josie Brannon recording five kills and Mia Skinner providing 15 assists as Roxana improved to 8-7 overall.
Southwestern fell to 6-12 with the loss. The match date and location were not provided.
Addison Boyer and Peyton Cincoski each added four kills for Roxana, while Hope Stewart-Sperry had three. Sophia Powers recorded 10 digs, and Stewart-Sperry and Kylah Brown each finished with two blocks.
Boyer led Roxana with 10 points. Cincoski, Skinner and Kaylee Hoffman each contributed six.
Roxana returns to action at home against Waterloo-Gibault on Tuesday night, Sept. 29, 2026, before facing Carrollton on Wednesday, Sept. 30. Southwestern plays at North Mac on Thursday, Oct. 1.
