The case against Leflore was presented to Madison County prosecutors by the Edwardsville Police Department. The charges were filed on Sept. 18, 2026, but were sealed pending his arrest to avoid the risk of his flight from prosecution. The case was unsealed on Oct. 1, 2026.

On Dec. 17, 2025, Leflore is accused of soliciting a then-16-year-old child to perform a sexual act while he was the child’s employment supervisor on Dec. 17, 2025. He also allegedly sent the same child money via CashApp in exchange for meeting with the minor at his home address to engage in unlawful sexual conduct.

The Madison County State’s Attorney’s Office filed a petition to deny Leflore’s pretrial release from custody, stating that in messages soliciting the child to engage in sexual acts, Leflore identified himself and was the victim’s employment supervisor at the time.

Leflore reportedly offered to send the child $300 to engage in the sexual acts and sent $100 via CashApp to the victim, in addition to providing a physical address for them to meet at.

The state’s petition was denied, with a release order filed in this case stating neither party involved has confirmed the victim’s age.

“There is no acknowledgment by either party in regards to the alleged victim’s age,” the release order states. “Information proffered by defendant is in fact to the contrary in that multiple years ago, the alleged victim identified herself as 17 at that time, leading defendant to assume she was beyond 18 now.

“Defendant asked her about school the next day, but the Court does not conclude with certainty that was in reference to high school. Defendant and the alleged victim no longer work together.”

The release order concludes by stating “conditions exist” to mitigate the threat Leflore poses to the safety of the victim or community.

While on pretrial release, Leflore has been ordered not to have any direct or indirect contact with any individual under the age of 18 and not in a familial relationship. He has also been ordered not to enter or remain on the premises of the business where he and the victim previously worked together.

All individuals charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
