Lane Closures On I-270 In Madison County
Intermittent daytime closures are planned between Illinois 111 and I-55 on Oct. 29 and 30, 2026, weather permitting.
PONTOON BEACH – The Illinois Department of Transportation today announced that intermittent daytime lane closures will take place on Interstate 270 between Illinois 111 and Interstate 55 in Madison County on Thursday, Oct. 29, and Friday, Oct. 30, 2026, weather permitting.
The lane closures are necessary for the evaluation of pavement conditions.
