“Southern Illinois is my home, and there is no greater honor than representing the people and communities that shaped my life,” Bost said. “I’m incredibly grateful to the voters of Illinois’ 12th District who have once again placed their trust in me.”

Bost pledged not to take his responsibility to constituents for granted and credited those who participated in the election.

“Tonight’s victory belongs to every volunteer, supporter, and voter who participated in this process,” he said. “We’ve got more work to do, and I’m ready to get back to it.”
