Nikki Budzinski Wins Third Term Representing Illinois’ 13th District

SPRINGFIELD, IL — Tuesday night, Nov. 3, 2026, U.S. Representative Nikki Budzinski released the following statement after winning re-election to represent Illinois’ 13th Congressional District.

"I am so proud that the voters of Central and Southern Illinois are sending me back to Washington to fight on their behalf. My service in Congress has always been about working people and about delivering the promise of a better future.

"Since 2023, I’ve worked tirelessly to bring home critical dollars for folks up in Champaign all the way down to East St. Louis and everywhere in between. This win is proof that the work we are doing is making a difference – and I will continue fighting each and every day to see our communities get the resources they deserve.

"And now, as we return to Washington, all Democrats will have a mandate to deliver on the single most important issue keeping folks up at night – lowering costs. While the House Republican Majority has turned a blind eye, Democrats will stand up for working people and deliver real solutions that will ease this burden on our families.
