Collinsville Issues Boil Order After Water Main Break

Collinsville water customers at listed addresses must follow boiling instructions after a main break. The city’s notice identifies affected properties across numerous streets.

COLLINSVILLE - A water main break has prompted the Collinsville, Illinois, Water Department to issue a boil order until further notice for customers at specified addresses across the city, including all addresses in the Woodland Trails mobile home neighborhood.

Water used for drinking or cooking should be brought to a full rolling boil for at least five minutes before use, according to the city’s notice. Customers also should turn off ice makers and discard any ice produced.

The order applies to the following addresses:
