Lorne Green III Shows Dedication at Althoff Catholic High School

BELLEVILLE - Lorne Green III is a well-rounded student.

For his accomplishments, Lorne Green III is a Student of the Month for Althoff Catholic High School.

Green, a senior, plays football and basketball at Althoff Catholic. It takes a lot of responsibility and dedication to balance sports and academics, but Green does so gracefully. He enjoys challenging himself in every game and practice.

He also previously played football for Elite Speed, and he helped his team win state during his junior year. His basketball team also placed second in the state. These achievements would not have been possible without Green and his teamwork.

Green regularly volunteers at his church, and he also started his own grass service business. He is proud of the business he created and the ways he helps others. When he’s not busy, he enjoys playing his PS5, working out, and sleeping.

Green received a full scholarship to McKendree University, and he can’t wait to embark on the next chapter. His loved ones and teachers will be cheering him on.

“I plan on going to McKendree University to play football and get my business degree,” he shared. “I'm a respectful, hardworking, responsible student who has a good attitude and tries to get along with everyone.”
