DUPO — The Metro East Lutheran Lady Knights opened their season with a 52-38 loss to the Mt. Olive Lady Wildcats Tuesday night, Nov. 18, 2025, at the Dupo Cat Classic Tournament.

Mt. Olive took an early lead, outscoring Metro East Lutheran 13-6 in the first quarter. The Lady Wildcats maintained their advantage through the first half, leading 25-17 at halftime.

After the break, Mt. Olive extended their lead to 41-21 by the end of the third quarter. The Wildcats continued their momentum in the final period, outscoring Metro East Lutheran 16-4 to secure the victory.

Lauren Bailey led Mt. Olive with 28 points, while Katelyn Mitchell contributed 8 points. For Metro East Lutheran, Anna Mosser scored 15 points and Grace Koch added 9 points.
