Alton Memorial Day Parade Photos, Monday, May 30

The Annual Alton Memorial Day Parade was again a smash, with thousands in attendance. This year's parade was the 149th edition and each year it seems to be more moving, always with a focus remembering the veterans who served our region and country. Alton's LaJarvia Brown was showcased in the meet with her four medals. The Redbirds placed second in the girls state track and field meet, the highest finish ever for Alton's girls, with Brown and Katie Mans leading the way.
