Halloween, Community and Finding Grace with Lindsay on You're Beautiful with Brian Trust

Brian Trust and MJ discuss Halloween costumes, trick-or-treating and differing Christian perspectives on the holiday. They consider how Halloween can create community connections and mention local celebrations and businesses, including the Alton parade and State Street Market.

Guest Lindsay shares why Tracy Chapman’s “Fast Car” is meaningful to her and talks about starting a business creating themed grazing boxes, boards and tables. She also reflects on her experience as a police officer and the comfort she finds in serving others.

The conversation turns to grief following the loss of her husband, healing and the role of faith during difficult seasons. On You're Beautiful with Brian Trust, Lindsay offers her perspective on prayer, grace and beginning a relationship with God without worrying about doing everything perfectly.
