Lindsay McCoy on Faith, Recovery, Amare Services and Rocking for Recovery 2026

Lindsay McCoy returns to You're Beautiful with Brian Trust for a conversation about faith, parenting, mental health and recovery support in the Riverbend area. She reflects on her Catholic upbringing, military service, return to the region and the role faith has played during uncertainty and personal challenges.

McCoy explains how Amare supports people affected by addiction through peer recovery coaching and free, confidential family services. She also discusses Codependents Anonymous, Adult Children of Alcoholics and Dysfunctional Families, and a grief-and-art gathering that provides space for difficult conversations.

The episode also previews Rocking for Recovery 2026, scheduled for September 19 at Bethalto Central Park. Organizers are seeking volunteers, vendors, resource booths and sponsors to help connect the community with recovery resources and supportive relationships.
