JD Shares His Testimony of Addiction, Overdose, Faith and Recovery

JD joins You're Beautiful with Brian Trust to share how he survived addiction and an overdose, turned toward Jesus and began rebuilding his life. He reflects on losing his children, forgiving painful betrayals and finding hope after years of grief and drug use.

The conversation explores humility, letting go of other people’s opinions and choosing prayer and love over bitterness. JD also discusses the support he receives through church, men’s groups, Bible studies and Christian community, as well as his desire to use music and his story to encourage others.
